When the Revival Song is Better than the Original

It is a common knowledge that as always, the original version of the song is better than the revival. Personal take, there is BABY CAN I HOLD YOU by Tracy Chapman among so many songs.
But there are also a huge list of revival songs which, one way or another, are better than the original. It must be the way the singer delivered the song, or the accompaniment, et al.
Here is my list:
1. WILL YOU STILL LOVE ME TOMORROW? - Laura Branigan (original by Carole King)
2. EMOTIONS - Destiny's Child (original by BeeGees)
3. IF YOU ASKED ME TO - Celine Dion (original by Patti Labelle)
4. I STILL BELIEVE - Mariah Carey (Original by Brenda K. Starr)
Any other songs? Thanks for the responses
