My duck was attacked by a fox.

Last weekend on Sunday we were late getting back home. My fiance noticed that something was going on with the duck. A fox had gotten into her pen and was trying to have her for dinner. He stopped the attack and we had an injured duck on our hands. The fox ripped a gash in her side. It was touch and go there for an entire week. She is doing much better now. We cleaned the wound up and put neosporin on it. Then later in the week I got a powder antibiotic for her and included it in her water. Now she is doing much better thank goodness. I was so worried there for a bit. I thought we were going to lose a very good pet. If you have ducks as pets make sure you know about the anatomy and how to treat injuries.
