When you sleep over or live with other people for a specific time, do you feel shy about how you're going to cope up with their rules and regulations? What kind of a houseguest are you? As for me, I make it a point that I won't cause any trouble or just the mere fact of being a heavy load or a burden to the people which I'm living with for a short span of time. I contribute what I can give.

I usually do not stay at other people's houses, but I have visited and stayed over night. I think the longest I was a guest at someone's house was when I went to Colorado with my husband, he was not my husband then, to visit his father and step mother. I was very uncomfortable from the beginning, because the step mother told us in no uncertain terms that she did not like people staying at her house. My husband's father cleared that up real fast by saying that it was his house and yes we could come. We spent as little time as we could in that house, we did not eat there, we would clean our room in the morning and leave. She made me feel so unwelcomed. I guess she began to feel guilty because one night she insisted that we have dinner with them, rather than go out and buy dinner.

As much as possible i don't want to sleep in other house or live with other people other than my family.I'm a shy house guest.Just like you I don't want to cause any trouble or be a burden to other people's place.I'm a cooperative guest too.I will help in any way I can.But as much as possible I always want to be at home.

I believe that I am and I try not to let my foster home worry about me. I try to wash dishes and help out in the chores as much as I could. I also try to be tidy and adhere to the rules and regulations.
