I have a Nintendo DS with The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass game. I was wondering if there are any myLotters out their that can recommend any other Nintendo DS games. I tend to play Action/Adventure games like Zelda, but I am open to all genres. Please list the game and explain why you are recommending it. Posting a link to a third-party review couldn't hurt either. Thank you.

The Castlevania games on the DS are pretty good. I'm playing Order of Ecclesia now and it's pretty good. You can also try playing those brain games. I have a bunch of them for my DS and they're really fun to play. Plus, they exercise your brain. Here's a link to Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia: http://www.gamespot.com/ds/action/castlevaniaorderofecclesia/index.html?tag=result;title;1

Thanks for the recommendation and the link. Gamespot gives the game a very good rating. Judging from the pictures, this version appears to play in the Classic side-scrolling Castlevania style. Of course, the mapping feature takes advantage of the dual screens. Is there anything unique about this game that you like migsmartinez?

It's pretty much the same as the past 2 Castlevania games for the DS but this one has a different "relic" system. I forgot what it's called but it's kinda cool. You absorb stuff to get them. You don't buy weapons or powers but instead, you kill enemies then absorb them and then depending on what enemy you absorb, you get a weapon or a skill. It's pretty cool.

That does sound like a unique way to earn weapons and attributes for Castlevania. It sounds more like the way that upgrades are acquired in MegaMan games. I'll definately be checking that game out. Thanks again.

This game never really gets the attention it deserves for some reason but check out "the world ends with you" from square enix. For some reason no one really knows about this song and it's one of the best for the ds.

You are the second poster in a row to mention this game, so I will definitely go and check it out. Is there anything about The World Ends With You" that makes it different from other games or particularly special? Cheers.

That's quite the list. Thank you very much for posting. Is there anything particular about any of these games that you like or that you find unique? Has anyone tried Metroid Prime: Hunters, Star Fox Command or Super Mario 64 DS?

I love Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. For you I would probably recommend Mario games as well. I like the pokemon series, so you can make of that what you wish. I would definitely recommend Mario Kart if you like racing type games. I like the pokemon series because I like how you can keep going once you are done and all of the side things to do. I like Mario Kart because I feel racing games are awesome when it adds a special twist in. I like The new Mario game for the DS that is a new version of the classic one because I like the classic games and it is a ton of fun for me to have an adventure type thing.
