we are relatives and we went to college together. we were cool. we chat, etc. one day, i was talking with a classmate and out of nothing much we stumbled talking about her. my classmate told me that she was telling her class that her family has this gasoline station. FACT: its his boyfriend's family who owns the gasoline station. this is the first lie, now i shall tell you about the rest; 2. she told a class that her marriage had been arranged being she half chinese (which she is not, but she sure does look like one) and her boyfriend being of chinese descent as well (which is true). FACT: she is not chinese at all! and there is no arranged marriage 3. she told another class that her family owns a big business in the city. FACT: if there is any business involved, again it is her boyfriend's family who owns some. 4. she made mention that a house was built for her and her "fiance". and by chinese tradition, they had it feng shui-ed. FACT: yes, there is a house, but is not for them. its her boyfriend's relative's house. 5. she stole her grandma's cellphone, got caught, she did not admit it even if her mother beat her to bruises just to make her tell the truth. but still she stood her ground. FACT: she got beaten to bruises. she stole the phone. 6. she was trusted as the payroll giver for this business her boyfriend's family has. she was told never to open the cash register unless dates of giving out the salary. she holds the key. one day (not salary giving day) she opened the register and was caught by the owner herself! her excuse? I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SEE A LOT OF MONEY... FACT: she did saw a lot, but never did she stepped foot into their lives again. the boyfriend's family told him to stay away from her. there are actually a whole lot more. you see, it is very shameful to know someone like her, i was quite ashamed coz in school people knew we are relatives, they tell me things and confirm if what she says are true.. but they are not.. i really would like to help her. but how?.. i became distant since i found out her lies.. but i still want to help her live her reality. or at least stay simple and live truthfully.

I'd ever met a boy when I was a student at university. The boy said he travelled to my city but his wallet was stollen. He hope me would lend him some money to buy ticket returning home.He showed me his ID card and the package for travel, then I trusted him as he called himself a student of a famous university in other city. I gave him money more than a ticket and he promised to pay after home. Well, you sure know the result that I never charged back my money. From then on, I never trust the one who asks for help at street!

that is sad. i recall, "what would jesus do?" .. right?. we only do what we think is the rightful action but unfortunately there are just those who live to take advantage of other people's goodness.
