Anyone out there making good money from Blogging or writing articles?

If there is anyone out there successfully earning money Blogging or writing articles, I would like to hear from them. I have always heard about people making money Blogging and writing articles online and have always wanted to give it a go but never been sure on how to Blog or write articles. I think the hardest part is actually starting a Blog or an article. I would appreciate it very much if someone out there who is in the know, would give me a few pointers.
