After reading a discussion regarding the Hunger Site, I just thought of another similar site -- FreeRice.
This site has two goals:
1. Provide education to everyone for free
2. Help end world hunger by providing rice to hungry people for free.
Previously, they only offered English vocabulary lessons. For each answer you get right, the site will donate 20 grains of rice to the United Nations World Food Program. Now, they have other subjects such as English Grammar, Basic Math, French, German, Italin and Spanish language leaning, etc. Here, you can learn something new for yourself, and also help the hungry people to get rice.
Let's learn and help the needs together!

Nice one. In my organization where I am already an alumnus, we have a feeding program every Sunday. It is a feeding program designed for not just for street children but for poor children near the place. Before the feeding, we usually have story telling to the children. The children ages from four to thirteen years old.
During sessions, some of the children's parents are there. Actually, they are the ones who cook the food. The food ingredients are provided by some other volunteer alumni.

It's not really heavy for those who volunteered because they take turns in providing the food to be cooked. They are organized and their heart is really for the poor. Actually they do it as a ministry to the poor. We are still looking for other volunteers or those who want to donate something.

Yup this is a pretty cool site. I have been on it lots of times. At first all they had was the vocabulary and now they have all sorts of cool subjects. My husband uses it in his classroom too.
