Back when I was in middle school, I was into the whole blogging thing: Xanga, LiveJournal, etc. I used to type in only lower case and using shorthand for many words, like 'cuz' instead of 'cause' or 'l8r' instead of 'later'. At some point, I realized how stupid I looked and I began to become really critical of myself with grammar, spelling, and typeface. Everything I type now, whether it be with friends or more professional situations, I'm very careful to look professional. Every once in awhile when I'm in a hurry I'll type in only lower case but even that rarely occurs. When you use email, blogs like MySpace/Facebook, how do you type? What makes you choose that certain way, or why don't you type 'normally'?

hello friend... i really hate to type like this HeLlO WeLcOmE... it's very hard and confusing to read unless you use it everyday... i also won't use short forms such as cuz, 4 u, u 2, thr, ltr and etc... it really destroying the english language... i also think that those people who use this type of writing can't write in their exams well because they always use the short forms and they tend to forget what's the actual word is... as you can see my writing here, this is what i like... nice to read and also totally complete word... by doing this, i'm also improving my english and also the suitable words that are needed to use for...

Actually that type of typing makes me nuts LOL I do abbreviate some words like b/c for because and b/f or g/f for boyfriend or girlfriend and ppl for people but other than that I don't. For me it's just b/c it's quicker then anything else. When I'm typing an article or a letter though I spell everything out though. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG AND TRUST IN GOD**
