RewardTV is driving me nuts

its a daily television show trivia site, where you earn points that can be used to bid on some pretty neat auction items. everything from magazine subscriptions to game systems. currently i have a bit over 3 million points..seems like a lot. and about 3/4 of those points will be expiring at the end of december! which rather pisses me off. whats even worse is that there is NOTHING whatsoever that i want to bid on..that is even remotly in my price range. the points expire like every year.or something close to that, what i dont get is how some ppl are able to make 7 million points in a year in order to bid on the XBox and things of that nature. you can do up to 5 shows per day..i usually can only do 3 or 4 a day that ive watched or remember enough of. i guess others just max out all 5 everyday..cause as far as i know besides the occasional survey..doing the trivia is the only way to get points. maybe they give some for referrals that i dont know about. who else is going to lose a ton of points come the end of december cause you really dont want to get started on a subscription of 17 magazine..and dont want the stupid WWF dvd that happens to be the only thing in your point range?!
