they needed water to help victims as it was happening and they asked starbucks but they said they had to pay $130 bucks for 3 cases of water.. the rescue workers paid OUT OF THEIR OWN POCKETS to get the water to help the victims..
they felt they were over charged and tried to talk to starbucks later but every one in the company either denied it happen or didnt respond till it went around on the internet and caused a stir and THEN they repaid them!!
that is insane!! i dont know what the victims had going on but what if some one was on fire or something?? would they charge them then?? this is as bad as when i was in new orlenas and there was a fire in a trash can outside the cathedral and the church wouldnt let the cops use the fire extinguisher!! because it cost THEM to fill it if they emptied it! so the fire truck came 20 minutes later with a huge hose for a trash can fire.. some one could have dumped a glass of water on it but they thought chemicals or god knows what could have been in the can ready to explode or something!!

big business always thinks about money first until they get bad publicity and then they change their tune real fast. It is always the way.
