Another news of death because of eroded mountains in the Philippines

I am not fond of watching the news really. Just this evening, I just heard the news that there are deaths again because of drowning on some provinces because of flood. And these floods are all because our forests have no trees at all. And the root of this is because illegal loggers in the Philippines are still free to do their crimes. And this is because even some people on Department of Natural Resources are protecting the businessmen who do such crimes. I'm really depressed on the status of corruption on this country. And I can't help feeling depressed and helpless for the future of our kids when there are more catastrophes which will come because our government does not care at all.
