Does body odour have anything to do with attraction?

I feel i get attracted to some type of people and get repelled from some type of people. I tried a sort of experiment over a priod of time. not to make it obvious to teh person i tried to smel the clothes of the persons which they had put in the laundry bag for a wash. The body odour is most evident in the arm pits. i foudn that the people who i was attracted to had a body odour which was very pleasing and intoxicating. i just liked the smell. it gave me a high and the body odour of those people i was repelled from gave me a very toxic smell. I wonder if there is a interrelationship between body odour and attraction.
i had read somewhere that the female in most species attracts the male by a secretign a special body odour. How far is it true?

I have never seen any body odor that smells good. It always stinks and i hate it. And most of the men and women now used to some type of deodorant or perfume, so that not need to be his original smell.But i hate to be people whose clothes

In my case, i do have an asthma and every time I smell something odd either it may be a good smell or a bad smell or even if i just inhaled some dust or smoke, I usually end up going in the hospital specially if my asthma attacks severely and not even my inhaler could stop it. So I guess, for me, attraction and odor goes both ways...

im not sure if you are talking pheromones or body odor as in sweat/stinky?? pheromones can attract people and every one has their own unique smell but hopefully everyone doesnt stink haha..
