Who is your favourite author? Mine is Wilbur Smith!!!

Who is your favourite author? I have just re-read "The Quest" by Wilbur Smith. A fascinating tale of ancient Egypt which you have great difficulty in putting down. I have read all his books several times and all are powerfully written and almost bring you in to live the part. Most enjoyable. Who do you like best?

Dean Koontz. My fave book by him is Night Chills. I love it.

My favorite author is Bertrice Small. I especially love her series "Skye O'Malley". She writes mostly sagas that are historical romance, but she packs so much real history and detail into her novels that they stretch far beyond the romance realm. She has also written a fantasy series ( I haven't read that yet). I have read all her books, except the fantasy. She has a marvelous way of twisting plots so the reader never knows what to expect.
