Ruining there own health.

What do you think of these people who live for today ,eat junk food , drink alcohol . smoke like troopers,never get enough sleep ect then complain because they get sick and expect everybody family ect,to run around after them.Someone I know led his wife a merry old dance with drinking whiskey, not eating properly a right party animal know he has come back to his ex wife and expects her to look after him.So he has nearly ruined her life for years and that of her kids now hes back to mess up the rest of her life.Have I missed something or has he the right to expect her to look after him.

People who live for today by ruining their health are stupid.If you dont care about your future health then you should be willing to suffer the consequences alone.
That said though I suspect that his ex-wife will take care of him if only for the children's sake.It would auger well for the children's peace of mind especially if they are close to their father .It is not fair and he should really spend his life alone but when children are involved ,we sometimes have to make decisions in their favour.

And....where it relates to politics...is that this same person ruins their health to the extend that tax payer dollars are used for the health care for for disability benefits when they caused their own problems.
