Oh right, christmas shopping! LOL!!! I guess I'll budget myself $100, I have a couple of people I can buy for. I'm going shopping on Black Friday because my daughter is going to visit her biodad that day. Woo hoo!! Let the games begin!!! Happy MyLotting!

My budget is exactly the same as it was last year and the year before that. Zero. My children and my sister and I don't exchange gifts. I used to send a few things to my grandkids when they were small, but I don't really know what they might want any more. Besides, they're spoiled rotten and have more toys and gadgets than they need, so I don't feel any desire to add to that.

LOL Like every year I will only buy for the close family members. Everyone else will get cards. I have to mail my gifts which usually cost around 20 dollars. I try to spend about 15-20 dollars on each family member. I've never had to buy for children until this year so my budget will go up a bit. I don't know how much it will cost me and I don't know how much I have to work with yet. It will all be last minute pick ups unfortunately as I have no time from now until christmas to get ready. People who can get a tray of goodies saves me a lot of money in the long run. For the past month I have been baking on all my days off and have been freezing things getting for them ready for the last minute invites or the opps I forgot people.

I have a large family so we started drawing names a few years ago and we have a $25.00 spending limit. Then I have my kids and a few frinds to buy for so we will budget around $200.00 for Christmas shopping. Normally it is a little higher than that but this year we are all in the same boat I think so we'll be cutting back a little. I always shop on Black Friday and hope to find some deals and I shop online quite a bit. After all Christmas isn't about the gifts it's about the quality time spent with friends and family.

I completely agree with Christmas being about time, not gifts. Therefore it's just interesting to see how much people spend. I like getting small, thoughtful and often funny presents!

My budget this year is even tighter than it has ever been in the past. I want to spend 50 dollars or less if possible. I am probably going to try and give away things that I already own that I think other people will enjoy also like books or movies.
