How are my fish?

One of the most foolish things I have done was giving my parents a huge fish tank full of huge fish. Once my mom had it set up in my old bedroom which is her new computer room, she fell in love with it. I will never get it back I was told. She says the fish remind her of me and she enjoys feeding them everyday. I had this tank since I was sixteen years old. I paid 150 dollar for it. It was one of those things I always wanted to keep. I had a friend with a pound she wasn't using so one summer I asked her to grow me some fish. She laughed at me and I explained I would buy feeder goldfish for fifty cents a piece and grow them nice and big in her pound. She agreed and thought it would be neat to see how big we could get these little cheap fish to grow. Sure enough by the end of summer I had humongous goldfish. I let her keep six and I kept 6. I gave them to my parents to hold on to when I moved out of a place into a smaller place. After that they told me I wouldn't ever get them back. They make a nice touch to my old room. I live 8 hours away so I never get to see them anymore. I wonder how many are still alive? lol I know my parents have added other fish to the tank since so I'm curious to see them next time I'm in town.

I have had an indoor tank and I have had an outside pond, but my fish never grew any bigger, and that are the few that lived, most didn't live all that long but a tank is a beautiful thing, very relaxing and you can get some beautiful fish..
