I do not think, I am superstitious. No, not that I know of. May be I do some kind of gestures and mannerisms typical of my family just out of habit and not a superstition. Like I would touch feet of elders out of respect even though I know that respect is all in the mind. but just because i have been brought up to do so and just because the elderly people like it that way, I would do it. I also know that I respect many other people whose feel I do not touch as a custom. I am not a superstitious person but I do not want to hurt others in this particular custom.

I understand what your saying. I guess anything I do "superstitous" is something I've been used to seeing. I'm made nervous about certain occurances because I saw my elders nervous about the same. Thanks for responding.

I'm on the "safe side" superstitious. It's not I believe them, I think it's better that you pay attention to their warnings than be sorry. Can it hurt to just respond to that superstition? That's what I always think.

Hmmm..interesting. Responding to signs. I think that's a good way to think about it. Thanks for the input.
