What is going to be on your Thanksgiving Table?

We've never had turkey on Thanksgiving unfortunately because my parents are both working that day, and my mom does not have a lot of time to cook. We usually substitute the turkey by buying an already made rotisserie chicken and my mom just has to prepare steak, and we buy mashed potatoes from KFC. Simple, but it works and we don't have to make room for any huge turkey leftovers since we probably wouldn't be able to eat it all, since its just the four of us at home.

My husband's family celebrates Thanksgiving here in the Philippines. I don't know why but it's probably because of all their relatives in the US. This year, we'll be having turkey with the gravy and the jelly.

Oh I can hardly wait. Cranberry slushy drinks and pumpkin pie are among my thanksgiving favorites, but who can resist warm turkey and fresh baked rolls. I can almost smell the Thanksgiving goodness now. If only we could get the feast without all the work... Now that would be heaven.
