everywhere i go i always see kids as well as adult playing with their PS3 or PSP. is it really a practical thing to do to give your kids playstation3 as a gift on their birthday or Christmas ? knowing that we are in global crisis right now and considering the price, is it really worthy? what do you think? please share your thoughts and opinions.

Nowadays PSp is just a simple toy for modern day kids, price hmmmmmmmm for a middle earner its half a month but if you want your kid not left behind by other kids so parents could forcibly purchase of it,even adult use this as their past time......... cherssssss were on 21st century

i understand but of course if parents can't really afford to buy this toy why forced themselves they just making their kids spoiled with material things. i believe that there's an alternative for this kind of toy that is cheaper. but of course if you can afford to buy, it's your choice.

I wish those who well-off should share their money to the unfornate kids, instead of I guess, is just wasting. Just my personal opinion. :)

If you are seeing the price factor then both are not good but if you are seeing the contents of the machine its worth the buy...first its the best gaming set available in the market today and it has the interactive gaming feature which other gaming sets does not have and graphics is more than the best and it has the cube engine which lets you play games even more better and second you have the blue ray disc player itself through which you could actually watch movies which are in the blue ray discs and it can connected to the net and used for online games which are at present free to use..

If you think your kids can take of of their PS3 then i don't see anything wrong with it as long as you can afford it and you still have the money to survive with daily needs. Playstation 3, if well taken care of, will provide a happy atmosphere at home. At least you can check on your kids at home because for sure they will be staying more at home to play than outside. Of course you need to monitor their studies too! It's pretty expensive but you have to explain to them that you won't be giving gifts as expensive as a Playstation 3 next time. For sure they will agree to that.
