Have you ever had a professional cut or trim trees in your garden?

Today we had a professional tree cutter trim some trees in our garden. The drum stick tree badly needed trimming and it had grown to giant proportions. Moreover, some creature had bored a hole in it, and we were afraid the tree would collapse on our house. The professionals did the work in no time. Only the drumstick stump remains now, and in a matter of weeks, it will give out new shoots. What about you? Ever seen a professional tree cutter at work? Cheers and happy mylotting

Hi there Positive Minded! No, we haven't tried that except for the time that we had our grasses in the front yard trimmed by the gardener who is in charge in maintaining the plants in the triangle in front of the house which is owned by our municipality.

I've never had a professional cut any of our trees. One of the first things I bought when I bought land was a chainsaw. I must admit that I don't use it myself, but I'm normally in charge of pulling the tree in the right direction whilst my beloved wields it if it's a biggie. I bought him a pruning course a couple of years ago so he could do a professional job of our olive and fruit trees. It was well worth while as we got over 16% yield on our olives this year.

Whenever you want. We had 15 at the dinner table the other week, of 8 different nationalities. One more won't make much more washing up!! :-)
