our professor made us watch a videoclip by Randy Pausch entitles "The Last Lecture". This quotation was from him. He's a professor of computer science from CMU, Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. He died just last July 25,2008 due to pancereatic cancer.
Anyway, i had a brief reflection after hearing this quote from him. ever since i was a kid, i love mixing colors. we had a painting class during the sixth grade and my teacher asked us to paint an inspiration, i had no idea what she was talking about. i browsed through the encylopedia and a painting caught my attention, from there i was able to make my own. That's when i began dreaming of becoming a painter and studying painting in college.
But right now, i'm far from that dream. arts and science don't really mix.. I thought about it and what Randy said was right, Eventhough i wanted to be a painter but wasn't able to be one in terms of really studying it in college, i was still able to have that memorable experience of expressing myself through art.
This is my reflection, what's yours??:)
