How many times you will get down to relax?

Travelling a long distance by train or bus is tedious. When the bus or train stops at a station, I find only a few will be in their seats. Many will get down for relaxation even in short halting duration. If the stopping time is for breakfast/ lunch/dinner,it is advisable to get down. Otherwise it is risky. Do you agree with me?

I find it is relaxing to travel by train because the seats are comfortable and I can walk up and down if I wish to stretch my legs. When I am on a long distance bus trip when it stops for a break I like to get down and chill out a bit. I don't find it relaxing to travel by bus so the stopovers are appreciated. If the stopping is for a meal I always ask what time I must be back on board. Yes, it is risky to get down and off off for a while at other times.
