How many hour you work most before ??

Well...i havent been that long...the longest shift mine has been..i think 15 hrs non-stop...but i just joined my organisation...so..i think ..i have got something to expect....

The normal working hours is 8 hours a day and have two days off. But in my case as a nurse, we can work 12-16 hours in a day plus the busy, toxic environment at the hospital. By that time, we cant be that effective to serve and do our job well. Even that 8 hours, we cant eat or have a snack because of heavy load of patients to attend to or having a full schedule for OR. Well, it all depends on the time where there are lots of patient or just moderate. But it feels good to serve and helping patient to recover and thanking us plus having smile on their faces as they go home. The tiredness just swept away.

I also have experienced working long hours. Two-days straight just to meet our deadline at work. The nature of our work demands so much time that we stay overnight in the office to finish our job. I was an external auditor before I resigned. Now I rarely experience spending overnight at work. I have transferred to a private company paying fair salary and giving the opportunity to spend my life the balanced way. I could play on weekends, spend more time with my family, and have more time for myself.

I only work the max of 18 hours before since I cannot last long without rest. My brain will not be able to work at all.
