do you ever give a gift for yourself for christmas?

I am not usually giving myself a gift on Christmas but i will try to do it this Christmas. I will buy something that I really would want to have. It is nice to have things that we really need and consider that as a gift for ourselves.

es, i do, it is kind of a reward for myself, but i do get Christmas gifts from my girls too and my siblings and aunts but still there is this one thing that you'll want to buy for yourself. This year i was planning to buy me a laptop but i am afraid i can't do that right now, there's just too much expenses which are more important than my laptop. So, maybe i'll settle for a less expensive present for myself this Christmas.

i used to do that but i havent done this for a long time. i used to buy something that was on sale just before christmas. this year, we are little financially unstable (who isnt?) so i probably wont do anything like that this year...but you never know eh?

Yes I do give gifts for myself every Christmas as a reward for myself for all the hard work and sacrifices I made all throughout the year. Most of the time I give myself a new blouse, dress, pants or shoes and if I have enough money I give myself some expensive gadget. This year I plan to give myself a professional Nikon camera or a apple 160GB ipod.

There have been some times in my day when I would treat myself with something around a holiday but mostly on my birthday. I would rather spend money on other people such as family. It is important to me that my son gets nice things. He comes first with me and then if I can I might pick up something nice for myself that I have wanted for a long time. It is hard today with budgets and financing. The economy seems to still be struggling a little and this year might be a little tight.

since i started working, all my earnings have been alloted for family use so i hardly ever buy anything for myself...unless very very necessary...so last year, i made a pact, that at least every christmas, i should buy myself something i want...doesn't have to be fancy or expensive...just something that i can make use of for the rest of the year....kind of a reward i give myself for all the hard work...

I do buy something for myself during Christmas. But of course I can't splurge because I need to buy gifts for family and friends, too. Usually, I also treat myself to something when my paycheck comes. It can be as simple as dinner in my fave resto, a movie, or a trip to the spa. Most especially during months that work is just too demanding, I need to find time to reward myself. :)
