I really hope they do the 1st film justice. In 2011 Tron 2 is slated for release. I love the 1st one, and I own it. It is confirmed: Jeff Bridges who played the role Kevin Flynn in the first original Tron movie will reprise his role (an older version of course). It's been 26 years since the original. This is one for the big screen. So I will spend the $$.

Wow! 
I watched the trailer was a bit fuzzy but I also read what they said about the movie and that they will even have way better special effects then in the first movie. I say when it comes out hopefully it will be sold together with part 1 as a combo package so everyone will be able to catch up
and know what is what. Which is good because some have never heard of Tron before o watched it and it will be a nice touch if they can watch both

That's... interesting. I don't know quite what story they would springboard off the first movie, but it will be interesting to see.
