Gandhi did a great sacrifice in getting freedom to his country. He is the true son of his country. Every year homage is paid to him on two occasions, one on his birth anniversary and one on his death anniversary as per political protocol. But in reality, how many people remember Gandh today and more important how much does the present generation know about Gandhi, the Father of the Nation. Can the present school children write an essay on him?

I think Mahatma Gandhi is well remembered by crores of people worldwide, besides the onehundred crores of Indians. It is not sufficent to remmber him, but Mahatma Gandhi is to be well followed and well worked out! Thanks!

I remember Gandhi and his principles though I dont not follow them as it is practically not possible these days. I know that children of these days do not know about Gandhi and if known also they in a sarcastic way. Its important for we elders to educate the children about Gandhi and his principles. This can help them develop as a better individuals and hence our country can become a developed nation. What do you say?
