I went to the gas station today and my car was on empty. I pumped 20 dollars worth of regular unleaded and when I got back in the car the tank was full! wow! Just a month ago it seems like, $20 would only have filled the tank half way. I really hope the price drop continues. Its like old times again!! I remember when gas was only 97 cents a gallon. Those were the days!

It is true that all are enjoying except the people in India. Though the International crude oil price has come down, the government was partial and never care about the welfare of the public. At the time of crisis the people in all slab supported the government by bearing the overload. Now once it is lessened the rulers should have generosity to revise the rate to unload the burden of the general public. God only can do change this type of attitude to help the citizen/downtrodden.

With our van, it still takes more than $20.00 to fill it up, but it use to be that $20 would not even put in a quarter of a tank. Now it puts a little over a half a tank, give or take.

The drop in prices is awesome. Regular gas is now down to $1.63 (even lower if you hunt for it). I have a feeling this won't last long though.

yeah, I remember those days too. The lower gas prices are definitely a welcome change, but I have a fear that they are going to go right back up again. Then again, with Bush leaving the White House now, gas prices may stay down. We can only hope...It would be great to see 97 cents per gallon again.

Obviously I am very happy that I can fill up for half the price I could just 8 weeks ago. On the other hand it makes me so mad I could spit nails to know that there was no sense in it in the first place. They raise it up so high that when they drop it back down we thing we're getting a big bargain! LOL Very frustrating to say the least!
