Do you plan to send out a lot of Christmas cards this year?

I used to buy cards, and stamps, and send out a ton of Christmas cards. It seems like I would only receive a card if I had already sent a card to some people. This year I think I will only send cards to my immediate family. What about you , do you send cards to friends and family or just family?

My wife and I seldom send out cards. We send out maybe 15 to 20 a year topds is all. Most our friends etc we see so a card is not needed for them we feel and they are okay with that as well. Ours go to friends and family from out of State mostly. HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I never plan on sending out a lot of Christmas cards, but I did not send out any this year. I had bought some cards. I even bought a book of stamps. I just forgot to make them out and put them in the mail.

I really wanted to send out cards this year, but with money being so tight, and me being a bit on the lazy side, I never got around to it. I'm going to definitely try and do it next year. If I knew for a fact that stamp prices wouldn't go up before then, I'd go buy a couple books after the holidays and put them in the Christmas box for when Christmas comes around next year. However, since stamps have gone up like 2-3 in the last two years, you never know what's going to happen.

I'm hoping to maybe send out one or two, but I don't think I'm going to be sending out more than that. I've never really been the type of person to send Christmas cards.

I don't send out a huge amount of cards, I never understood why people send cards to people that they haven't spoken to in years. I mean, what's the point?! I usually send them to family, and friends that I'm in contact with. I might send e-cards to more people though, to cut down on the amount I have to write and post out.

I've had the same experience as you. I only get a card in return if I sent it out first. And someties I wouldn't even get a card in return. So I only send out Cards to family. I live in Goergia and my family lives up north, so I get Pictures taken of my kids and send picture cards to them. This helps my family get recent photos of my kids and a Christmas card at the same time. So I know how you feel!

No, I no longer do this. But, I was really thinking about giving out cards this year for Christmas. I have not done so in many years. And I believe that I would give out Christmas cards to people this year. This has been on my mind to do so. It would be to my family and other people that are outside sources..
