I just want to know which is better among the 3 internet service provider. What did you use right now. I am using smartbro but I really have problem with it but I don't have any choice because that's the only line available here in our area. But when I go to my moms house they uses globebroadband. How about you do you think the line you're using has faster internet connection? Why?

im using smartbro also, same observation as you said, i also had problems with the connection. but weather its dsl, smartbro or globe it always boils down to the price of the service. if its more expensive the speed is better.

Not really Digitel offers P995 pesos per month with a speed of 384Kbps with a phone provided. Wireless broadband is more expensive than DSL.

that's sounds ok compared to smartbro with 364kbps that cost ph999 no landline, but we don't have digitel here in our place. thanks anyway for that information.

I agree with jc_canon, but based on my experience, I would suggest DSL. I use DSL, my friend SmartBro, and the problem he encountered was, the speed of the connection depends also in the signal in your area. We could see sometimes when there is no signal in the phone, there is also no internet connection, and when the signal is low he also experienced a lag in his connection.

yay thanks simpaulguy ^__^ i think Smart bro, Pldt MyDSL and Globe Broadband speed all depends on your area. What about Bayantel 777 Unlimited o.O?

hmm, I don't know which is better internet provider here in our country. I'm used to be a smartbro user before for about a year in a half. Now, I'm a globe broadband user for about 3 months. Having used both, I experience both good and bad things from them, like in smartbro, they got a great customer service, however, their internet are rather slow, a bit fast from dial-up. As for Globe, the internet is fast, however, their customer services are really bad and unhelpful, not to mention, there are times that the internet become slow too especially if raining. However, Globe is pretty good right now, I'm quite alright with them. But, I can't say however that they are the best internet provider.

At work we use smartbro, but sometimes the connection is interrupted because of poor site. at home i use dsl, i think dsl is more better than any other else for it doesnt need antenna to have a better connection. Many of my friends complain of smartbro for poor signal especially the portable one.

We applied for a bundle package with Globe Broadband. The package we availed of includes 1mbps wired internet connection and a landline phone. During the first few weeks, we are always experiencing disconnections and slow connections. I always reported the instance to their customer service. Now that it is more than two months already, disconnections still happen some times. My brother is using smartbro and they also have some problems with it. I think the service connection depends on the location and on the person's computer.

hi i am a smartbro subscriber since july 2008. so far i am satisfied with the speed. although there was one time that for 3 days i never got a connection. i called the technical support and they were fixing something from the base station that i am connected with. after that i requested for a rebate luckily they granted my rebate. what i hate about smart bro is the customer service, most of the time they will tell you "thank you for patiently waiting" and you will almost lost your patience for patiently waiting. then another thing they will tell you that you will be contacted by their customer service within 24 hours but that is a lie. you will wait until you will be the one to call. LOL! i haven't tried globe and dsl so i dont have a point of comparison. happy posting!

Im using SmartBro at the moment. From my own experience, SmartBro has given me a fast internet connection. No disconnection (besides from the last storm "Kosme" which broke my antenna down D;) Fast and unlimited. But I think the speed depends on: 1.) Location - area to which a smartbro base station is near to the subscriber's residence. The closer the base station the higher the radio signal. 2.) Installation - the position of the antenna and its line of sight into the base station. I tried PLDT MyDsl before, first from my uncle's house, it sometimes disconnects and slows down. Second from my friends house, it disconnects as well. I dont know if it's just coincidence that MyDsl disconnects from this two locations i tried it on, or that is how their "service" is. Note: I have nothing against PLDT MyDSL, it was just how i experience it. And globe Broadband, hmm actually i haven't tried this one yet. But i think they offer Unlimited internet + landline.

I can't compare at the moment because i only use smartbroadband but most of the time my connection is always down. Smart Communication give me a reason that it is because of the Base Station serving us here. Before they are Okay but early this year i am frustrated with their service. Maybe next month I will add DSL for my offline business and I remain smartbro for my personal usage if they will still okay and not frequently down every 2 days.

I used to have a Smart Bro wireless connection and to be honest I am very dissatisfied with their service and their technical support. One time it took them almost a month just to fix our service. Check out my blog about them, here is the link: http://rinoa1518.multiply.com/journal/item/15/Smart_Bros_Tech_Support I have a friend who is using globe wireless broadband and she is also experiencing intermittent problems with the internet connection. I can't tell you how happy I am when Digitel offered dsl for us. It's been two months and so far the internet service has been great! I hope DSL will be available for you too, soon! Happy myLotting!

Like you I am also using Smart BroadBand line connection. I am also encountering problems with my connection. It's always hard to connect, always have a connection interruption and very very slow connection. When I called to their costumer service they keep on telling me that it is because of our locations. They say we are far from their satellite sites. I also want to know which between the 3 internet service provider has the best service. I want to change my internet connection. Nice topic you got there.. Have a nice day..

I'm using PLDT myDSL. The connection is ok except that it gets too slow sometimes. It loses connection too but it's ok because it gets back after few minutes. It comes with a landline phone too. The speed i guess isn't what my mom is paying for because it's just a little bit faster than dial up connection. My friend's Smartbro is a little bit slow too.

I have tried PLDT DSL and Destiny Cable (because that's the only provider we have available in our area when we transfered). Both are fine, the speed depends on the budget and what time of day you use the internet. The service of PLDT DSL has improved since we first applied with them

I've been a subscriber from smartbro for three years and it seems that their services is getting lousy and their speed is getting slower. Since in our area there is only one DSL service provider and that is Globe DSL. So I switch to Globe. There are times that Globe is slow but most of the time it is fast. I am satisfied right now with Globe.

i am also a smart bro user for 4 years...sometimes , i do have problems with my connection as well. Then there comes the other providers in my city... DSL just opened their services here as well as globebroadband. My friends are already shifting to DSL. And they like it very much. I am still contemplating on transferring as well. to DSL. maybe next month.

i think DSL is much better than others, because i'm using it for just two years and i'm really contented with it. i has a fast speed of internet and the upload was also fast. happy mylotting!
