Do you believe in Heaven and Hell? What happens to us when we die?

Hi Naimah, personally I believe in these. Everything started,there will be there come an end for it.

I do believe in Heaven and Hell, but I cannot honestly say what will happen when we die, because well I didn't die yet LOL. I believe I will go to heaven and enjoy an eternal life with my family and loved ones and well as CHrist, but at the same time I have a hard time thinking it all ends there. I wonder if there is a possibility of reincarnation or more than one life...like the people who think they were someone else in another life time.

I was deeply religious until I was asked to teach a class in Sunday School. After a few lessons taught, I woke up one day to the knowledge that I did not believe what I was teaching the kids. The problem was...... I had begun to think for myself. My advise to you.... if you want to protect your religious Beliefs- always say, believe, and teach, what your Priest, Pastor, or Minister tells you. Never think for yourself! As soon as you begin to study alternate beliefs and ideas, and your religion will Quickly slip away. There is no Hell and no Heaven. Instead we reincarnate, and come back as a newborn to live another lifetime on earth. The bookstores and public libraries in your area are full of books outlining life after live on this earth. My Dear Friend Yes I do believe in heaven and hell. If you do act good in your life helping others , you'll be placed in heaven ones you die . And if you act badly in life harming others you'll be placed in hell ones you die Once we die I think we are taken to heaven or hell based on what we did in our lives Thanks For raising such a good discussion.....! I do believe heaven and hell, when we die we will go to a place, comfort or not that place it depends to the attitude the person then we wait till the world reach to the end, when the world can't be a place to anyone stay in.

Hello, I believe in also that our souls rest in the grave until God comes to place judgement on us, however, I too believe that when we grieve of our loved ones that have passed on that their spirits can be rekindled because of the closeness that we had with them before they passed on. I believe Heaven and Hell is what we make it. If we live a hellish life there will be hell on earth and vice versa. But I do believe that the end of times are coming and are near. God says in His word "do not sleep without thought" something to that effect. What He is saying is that be prayed up at all times because you don't know when the time is coming that He will come back to get us and that we should be ready and prepared at all times. I'm a firm believer of God and we should all fear Him for who He is and not be relaxed in the days ahead because the world is headed for destruction and the word in Revelation is coming to past. Only this time God will not take the world out by water it will be destroyed by Fire.

Very interesting question. I have been contemplating this question for a long time. My personal belief is that there is a heaven and a hell. When we die, our spirit is at rest until Jesus comes back. Once He has returned, then and only then will our eternal place be determined. I believe this based on scripture from the bible. 1 Thessalonians 4:16 the King James Version. DO I believe in Reincarnation, not so much, but I'm still doing some research on this topic.

This is a subject about which you can keep guessing and endlessly thinking. When i think about it i cannot be sure about anything like hell or heaven. These are man made words

interesting question that i think everyone at least went accross this once in a while. i think when people die they should sleep like no dream sleep, having no sense or anything. And is just gone, no soul or spirit. just shutting off fully with the body remains

I'm still in doubt if I should believe if there is really a heaven or a hell.They say that when your bad, you'll be in hell. But when you are good, you'll be in heaven.But as a catholic, YES, I believe that there's a place where God stays and when we die, we will be staying there. According to the story, it depends on us whether we will be in heaven or in hell when we die. If you were a good person,you obey all of God's rule while you're still alive, they say that youll be in heaven when you die. But if you did evil things, when you die, youll be in hell. According to Dante Alleghieri's book ( im not sure of the surname pls correct me if im wrong) when we die, we all be in hell. And in hell there are different sections it depends on how evil you are while you're still alive. All of us will suffer different kinds of agony/suffrings based on or sin. But there is one thing that can save us from such sufferings. And that is none other than, the prayers from all of our love ones that are still alive. That is why prayers are very important for those people who passed away.

I think that we can not believe Heaven too mach.We must believe ourselves to slove problems.When you meet problems,you must try you best to slove it.But if you beg to Heaven,what is it that he will bring to you?Nothing!He can not bring you anything to help you.

I think that we can not believe Heaven so mach.To my opinion,everything is depend on our hard work.When we try our best to do our work,difficulty can be solved.But if you beg to Heaven,what can you get?Nothing will you get from he.You must believe that you can do everything by yourselves.

I personally don't believe in these.Because according to myself,I always believe in the science.I just regard the Heaven and Hell like a beautiful dream.They are what we hope for but not exist in the world actually.

i belive that our soul is what carries us on into the after life because if you think about it, if all we get in life is 60 or less years then thats it, that would suck!! i belive that we do have a god, or higher being that we return to, so their has to be a place we go to, maybe its not called heaven or hell, maybe its just a place we go as spirites to live another life.
