Is Bush trying to destroy the economy as much as possible to hurt Obama?

Not trying to stir up a s***storm here, but really! Bush seems to be doing everything he can before he leaves office to spite America's tax dollars...and a lot of folks seem to be perfectly fine blaming this on Obama despite the fact he doesn't take office till January 20th. Grr.

He isn't doing anything new. If you would review your presidential history every president since Carter has done it and there were several more prior to it. What a lot of people do not understand is that a lot of what we are dealing with today is because of choices that Clinton made. Obama is no savior as you will see. He is already creating problems with Russia and he isn't even in office. You can think what you want but Russia isn't threatening the US about Iraq. If we can't come out on top in Afganastan and Iraq then how the hell can we even compete with Russia. LOL Obama also claims to create 2.5 million new jobs in 4 years. That is true. But did he tell you that we are going to lose 12 million jobs to create those 2.5 million. I have been there and done that. This isn't my 1st presidential campaign.

At least he isn't going to send thousands of young people into a useless war.

You should watch what you say. We might be at war with Russia within 4 years. By Obama messing with Russia... we might be in another useless war. Does anyone not see what what Russia does is no where near as bad as the US in Iraq or Afganistan? I say leave Russia alone Obama. I'm not taking up for Bush. But a country doesn't just collapse a year after someone is elected. It takes years for a president's decisions to ruin a country.

You think what you want. We lost in Viet Nam. Now Iraq and Afganastan are turning out to be the same. We couldn't crush Russia in a day. It would be detrimental to the US to go to war with Russia. Look at what the little Iraq war is costing us. If the Iraqi people wanted their freedom they would have fought for it and would be fighting for it now.

Heard some folks talking about gas prices are going down, Obama is doing his thing! ???? Obama hasn't taken office yet! Aside from current gas prices, which will probably skyrocket again come January, the economy is in shambles. You would think all the financial advisers in office would have seen it coming, and done something to prevent it right? Bush is good regardless, as I am sure there is not a broke politician in office right now. But Barack Obama is going to nave a lot of cleanup to do. It is much like when David Dinkins, A black man, won the New York mayoral race in 1990 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Dinkins). He had to come in after Ed Koch who left a mess for him to clean up after he left office. Dinkins did good in office but the pressure of the last mayor ran over into his campaign and ultimately caused a lot of finger pointing at him instead of Koch. "His critics have described him as weak and indecisive, if well-intentioned, at best. He was hurt by the perception that crime was out of control during his administration, although crime actually declined during the last 36 months of his four-year term, ending a 30 year upward spiral and initiating a trend of falling rates that continued well beyond his term.[2][3] Dinkins also initiated a hiring program that expanded the police department nearly 25%." -Source wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

Obama and his staff have a lot to clean up. I thought about this day 8 years ago when Bush was 1st elected. The only reason why the gas prices have dropped is to trick us into spending our money for holiday gifts. If not then Wal-Mart would be wanting a bail out. Gas prices should sky rocket again like they do every year. The gas companies have realized that we will pay it. Hopefully someone will regulate it.

Or everyone will convert their cars to run on water! Its already being done, and if more people jump on this new phenomenon gas companies would have no choice but to drop prices. Then government will put regulations on water and probably tax that! Water will be 4 dollars a gallon!

I dont think bush is doing anything to hurt obama, he's pretty much left everything up to the feds and congress, obama isnt making gas cheaper that was a ploy to try to jumpstart off the holiday season, imagine how the airlines would suffer if gas were the same price 2 months ago, As far as bush goes, im done critising him, he's either a real dunce, or has the baddest luck, either way the book is bout to be shut on his legacy.

First let e say that I really do not blame Obama for the economy. But I have to ask you, what specifically is Bush doing? It is the Democratic Congress that is bailing out the Big Boys.

Bush has influence and lobbying over the congress. Lobbying is the worst kind of corruption, IMO. However, this election was one of the biggest historic turnovers in election history, including with democrats. Many democrats were replaced.
