ok thanksgiving is in like two days. which we all say happy thanksgiving to each other. but how about christmas. do you say happy hoildays or merry christmas? myself i say merry christmas, and i call my tree a christmas tree. not a hoilday tree. they say you aren't suppose to say christmas tree it might upset some people, just like saying merry christmas. my thing is why should the rest of us stop calling it christmas tree or stop saying merry christmas just because people might not like it. myself i have friends who don't do chirstmas, and i will say happy hoildays to them out of respect. so what is your thoughts on this subject, christmas tree or hoilday tree ? merry christmas or happy holidays?

I know a lot of people who say happy holidays. I always say Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas. This is something that I always said from a child so I refuse to change it now.

No matter what, I will always say Merry Christmas and Christmas Tree. I think it too is kind of ridiculous to call a Christmas Tree a Holiday Tree. The only time I would say Happy Holidays is if I'm working somewhere and I don't know what people would prefer. But if I am walking down the street and someone says Merry Christmas or even Happy Holidays, I will still say Merry Christmas out of habit, I've said since I was able to talk till now, and I won't change it for no one.

We do not think about anything like that we just say happy christmas ,we have a christmas tree every body we know has a great time and just get on with it. It seems you are to worried about politcal correctness ,blow all that, mind you I would not upset anyone intentional but they might upset me by not celebrating chrismas,it is a two ways street. So take my way get on with it and if the others don't like it stay away untill it is all over,I will not let my kids enjoyment and my own by worrying about what other people say.HAPPY CHRISTMAS.Idon't do thanksgiving in England but HAVE A HAPPY THANKS GIVING.xx
