Lottery, reflecting people's dream of being rich overnight,is always a controversial subject.Admittedly,it has made so great profits which our society may benefit it from, but such profits could never compensate for the loss it costs. Those who buy lottery tickets share the same goal, hoping that the free pie will fall some day .I am a member of them, too.I have bought many lotteries, but haven't won any money. What a pity.

I don't buy lottery tickets, we all have limited resources(money), I don't think it is wise to use my limited budget to buy something that has about .00001 possibility of giving me back money. However, I join raffles, those that are given in groceries stores when you buy a certain amount of groceries or the ones wherein you insert food wrappers/shampoo sachets into envelopes and drop them in boxes. Raffles do not cost me any money yet give me the opportunity to win big. I think that is more wise.

Yes ,I think what you say above is right. It is unwise for me to buy too many lottery tickets, perhaps it is because I have too little money.I often I will win the grand prize next time,it is much attractive. Thanks for your sincere suggestions.
Happy mylotting.

I don't buy them very often, but I do buy them. In fact, I just bought a ticket the other day for tomorrow's drawing. I doubt that I'll hit the big one, but I can't win if I don't play, right?
LOL This was the 1st dollar I spent on a lottery ticket in a few months time. And the most I ever spent in one month's time on a ticket is probably $5.00, but that was when the jackpot was high, close to $200 million, I believe, and I remembered to play. LOL Other than that I don't spend more than maybe a dollar or 2 a month when I do play. So in one year's time I spend maybe 15-20 dollars on the lottery.

I buy scratch off lottery tickets. To me it seems i would be more likely to win on one of those instead of miraculously picking a series of numbers that match a series of numbers that are randomly generated.

Hi there simon611
Years and years ago I did the lottery every week without fail. I won small amounts a few times and then just didn't bother doing it anymore. About six moths ago I starte again but have again stopped as I didn't win a thing and thought that I was just wasting my money. I might start again in the new year and see what luck the new year brings me!!
