I don't know if it is true or not. However, I prefer milk chocolate over dark chocolate. Dark chocolate is just too rich for my taste. There is just something about milk chocolate that makes it easier for me to eat.

This is definitely true if chocolate has health benefits because milk chocolate is just milk, sugar, and a bit of chocolate. I don't eat dairy products at all. I love dark chocolate, especially the really dark chocolate, like 88%.

I prefer milk chocolate but I know that dark chocolate is healthier. I was watching Rachel Ray the other day and said that dark chocolate can help to reduce fat around the waist. I might consider converting because of that, but need to read the recommended book in greater detail first. Anyway, I actually prefer milk chocolate because it is milky. I don't like dark chocolate because it has a slightly bitter taste.

Hi there Llonorra. I also heard that dark chocolate is healthier and from my understanding it should have at least a 70 percentage of cacao to be good for health. I prefer milk ones but occasionally i lust for a dark one.

I prefer milk chocolate. I make a lot of homemade candy and it is a lot easier to work with too. I just finished making chocolate covered pretzels and heath bars.

The darker the chocolate the less fats it contains, which is why it's considered healthier. White chocolate is mainly fats and sugars, Milk chocolate has less fats but still quite a lot of sugars which is why it tastes much sweeter than the dark chocolate. I used to prefer the milk chocolate but the older I get the more I like the bitterness of the dark chocolate. I don't worry about it too much though, as I eat a very balanced diet and never 'forbid' myself anything.

Have heard that dark choclate is supposed to be much better for you because of the high cocoa content in it. However I really can't stand it and would much rather enjoy a slab of milk or in certain circumstances white. Always find dark chocolate too rich and sickly.

Yes in a way I suppose I do...just never really like the taste that much.

I love chocolates, whether it is milk chocolate or dark chocolate. But when i am staying up late at night to review my lessons or prepare for exam, i prefer dark chocolates. I just can't explain why, but it really keeps me awake, and it seems that dark chocolates stimulates my brain to function well.

Dark chocolate is different from milk or white chocolate it has a higher concentration of cocoa which is the same thing that gives dark chocolate its high antioxidant value.

Milk chocolate tastes much better & creamier than dark chocolate. I too have heard that dark chocolate does have some health benefits if eaten inmoderation. But most things should be eaten in moderation is weather or not our cravings take over our rationalization.

Hi friends I have both milk and dark chocolate. Both have their own advantages.Milk contains lot of proteins ,vitamins and minerals. It is for increasing the calcium .It helps in strenthening bones and teeth. Dark chocolate reduces the high blood pressure and reduces the risk of heart attacks. 6 grams of dark chocolate daily is good for health. But consuming lot of dark chocolate is not good for health. It may put on weight. But dark chocolate when consumed with milk, reduces the anti-oxidants in the chocolate. So milk should not be taken with dark chocolate. Bye!!!!!

I'm more dark chocolate fan, I prefer strong flavors. The other day I was reading an article about dark chocolate and said that is good for heart health because protect from hearth disease and inflammation. They recommended no more than about 6.5 grams per day, and say only dark chocolate will do the trick not milk chocolate.
