I've split my hard drive into 2 separate drive. One is local disk C the other one is local disk D but whenever i open my local disk D my computer slows down rapidly. Does anyone has this type of problem as well? or are there different problems which resulted in your computer slowing down.

Yeah, my computer does slow down always, especially when I have opened too many applications. Hence, I always re-start my computer if it's really too slow, just to clear of those memories, and have a fresh start. ^_^ Sometimes, if some programs is running in the background will slow down the computer too, such as anti-virus program is scanning your computer.

I've notice that whenever my friend comes around to take a look at my computer, he likes to install all kinds of spyware terminators and stuff like that. And those things oftn slow down a computer. What I do is whenever that happens I take a look at the Task Manager and the process and see where the problem is and that find out what its about. If its something I dont need and doesnt have to do with system files I just delete it. As I said they are usually some kind of spy ware terminators.

i have split my drive in three but i have no problem. maybe you should go to check msconfig at the start-run-type 9msconfir) go to the start up button and see if all unused program is running (u=you can modify it, choose the program you like to run but be careful) only if you know how to do it.
