Familiarity with computers make it seem like technicians are just breezing through things. It might just be that he knows what to check based on the symptoms that you provided. Most of the time, removing and reseating [other term for reconnecting] the components inside your computer could solve many problems. Even if you are not moving your computer from one place to another, there are times that components become loose or unseated, thus causing issues like that. Didn't the technician tell you what happened?

no. he didn't tell me, he just gave me back my PC fix. and he indicated on the receipt is "REPROGRAM" so, i think he just reformat it and put oS and antivirus. as easy as that.

Did you plug in a different hard disk than what was earlier. It happened to me when i plugged in my hard disk to another computer. It was because there was a driver conflict. I have installed the drivers for my motherboard so it kept on restarting even before the windows booted because it is a different motherboard.

Can you explain when does it restart. Does the desktop come or does it restart before windows boots...or nothing comes in screen. Do you hear any beep sounds from inside the cpu.

There are several possibility, Firstly, it could be a problem with your RAM or just maybe your RAM not fix enough into the socket. Secondly, there are a bad sector in you hard drive and need to be fix. Thirdly, the OS loading corrupted file when booting. and there are more to go.............. My suggestion is, if your are not having a technical know how, you better take your computer to technician. Is not as easy as it look, there are a lot of analytic thinking should be done. BR
