at what age you started to read all the words completely? (english only)

i do remember at the age of 10 i can all ready pronounce/say all english words. bout you?

As far as I can remember, I learned how to read (in english) when I was 8. I first learned how to read when I was 4 but back then I was reading filipino books.

I still can't pronounce all the words but I do know the meaning [the definition] of most of them. Those I don't I can usually figure out by the context of what they are written in. If that doesn't seem to work then I will look them up. It is my own spelling that gives me real problems. I very frequently have to look up words to spell them correctly.

I cannot remember my exact age when I started to read all the words completely. All I know is that even I was at age 6, I can read in english, even I not know if the way I enunciate it and pronounce it, is correct. It was only during college that I learned pronunciation varies because of different accent.I can say that up to now,I am still studying the english language (those words which are quite hard), and still checking in my dictionary if I am pronouncing it correctly.
