Are people in uniform sexy ?

I have heard this statement many times before but I cant remember ever being attracted to anyone on the basis of a uniform.Nvertheless I have always found this sentiment very interesting and would welcome any clarification on the issue.
The very obviuos question then is ,what makes ordinary people look sexy when in a uniform in which many other persons are likely to be in .Certainly it cant be a question of individuality,so maybe its the collectivity that is appealing.Maybe its the notion of having many options to to choose from.
I cant help but wonder too if the person wearing the uniform feels equally sexy and if so what are the reasons for feeling sexy ?.Could it once again be the feeling of belonging that comes form being a part of a collective.Or is it that you feel like you bring something special to the uniform that no one else has ,like Will Smith says in men in black when referring to the black suit they uniformly wear "I MAKE THIS LOOK GOOD!"

Hi ,
When younger it never was something i never noticed and some of my friends would find a man serving our country uniform looks good and yeah some looked nice i will admit . I think and have always been drawn to a man in a baseball uniform now that gets my heart racing

First of all, I think that it is very important what uniform the person is wearing. I don't think that I have ever seen a man make a janitors uniform look hot. I think that most of the time when people say that uniforms are sexy they mean military uniforms or police uniforms. I completely agree.
Part of what makes a man in uniform sexy is that most of them are in good physical shape. If they are in the military or the police force then they certainly exercise regularly and are probably pretty strong.
Also, part of what makes them sexy is what the uniforms represent. Military and police forces place a lot of importance on qualities like honor, loyalty, and duty. People can generally depend on these people to be upstanding members of society. Their uniforms are also symbols of distinction of authority.
All of these things combined make people in uniform sexy :)

There's a saying that goes: Beauty is on the eye of the beholder, but sexiness goes beyond on what the eyes can say, it radiate senses. Sexiness does not depend on wardrobe or accessories, it is always based on how we project ourselves. Infact, body figures don't even count in the end. If you have an oozing self confidence and you know how to carry yourself well in public and in dealing with other people, you are sexy.
Having an ex-factor, or a certain thing which makes a person unique, is a sign of sexiness, this is not tangible, this can only be felt. So whatever clothes you are wearing, if you possess a certain unique quality and you know how to carry yourself, then you have that sexiness in you. We are all sexy-it depends on how confident we are in projecting ourselves.

that all depends on the uniform and the body type. if its a lunch lady that looks like a lunch lady, then no. but that can easily be changed into a sexy nurse. so its a very thin line between what is and what isnt. to each his own.
