Will you Give a Christmas Card to the Hosptial?

I am a designer of many trades and recently made a few sets of cards for family and friends. When I took the cards out I was ecstatic to see something I made put into card format. I got to thinking and realized how great it would be to send a few of the cards off to a hospital for those who will end up spending christmas in a hospital bed. So my question to you today is why not buy a card. Or make one yourself and go to the hospital to drop it off to that individual who needs the christmas cheer. Word of advice. Steer clear of "get well soon" if you are giving it to a nurse to give to one of the patients something along those lines may not be so appropriate. I'm hoping to give at least 10 but we'll see how it goes.

I worked on the pediatric unit at a local hospital and we had a small unit of 16 beds. Every year I fix up 16 cards and mail them to the the patients in those rooms. They love it! Everyone remembers nursing homes at Christmas but seem to forget the hospitals. It makes the patient feel great to receive a card.

Beautiful picture by the way . Love huskies. On a side note do you have any advice for what to place in the cards? For those of us who don't interact with the patients it's harder to make a card for them. With that being said what should we look to stay away from saying and what is important to say?

Thanks and the picture is my two year old Big baby! His mother is as bautiful as him although she is a blonde Husky. I always sign the cars with a Get Well Soon , Just letting you know someone is thinking of you , Wishing you and your family the best Holiday Season or Wishing you a speedy recovery. I try to keep it pretty general but yet let them know that someone is thinking of them
