I do not have one. Do you prefer it over a land line? Why?

Once your provider has the opportunity to clutter up the land in your area with a new tower or two your service will improve.

I prefer the land line but I do have a cellular phone. It is a prepay thing. It costs me $80.00 per year and if I could ever use up all the minutes I would probably drop it as I have issues with cellular phones. I think my problem with cell phones is mostly related to others use of the cell phone. Almost no one, in my opinion, is really so all fired important that they have to be seconds away from talking to everyone they know. It can probably wait till you get home where you can crank up the operator and tell her who in town you want to talk too. It helps to be about eighty to understand that last sentence.

We actually are one of the people who don't have a landline. I have a cell phone, my fiance has a cell phone...and that's it. I have the cell phone or convenience, and then it just seemed silly to pay for yet another phone, especially when we are rarely home!

Well ofcourse its a lot more convinient than bringing your landline outside, Dont you think? But seriously it has advantages and disadvantages. Like Price, and Privacy. But anyway that would depend upon you what suits you best.
