I hope people see this interest

I recently responded to a person to whom has been here for over four years (wishes to leave) and is fed up with the way fights and other disagreements occur here. I suppose that saying fights or disagreements really isn't why the person left, maybe the reoccurence of the same gripes here on mylot would be a better way to describe why the person left here. I came across this interest and thought about those who do not like their star because the system of rating is biased in that anyone who doesn't like you can negative away, so as to bring this interest to those people's attentions I decided to post in it. Do you hate your star and want to get rid of it? The discussion that was in this interest category, was started a year ago. I went and added the interest myself so that I could post it and when I did the discussion from a year a go did not show up... So if the person who's been here four years has gripes about the way things go here, and the person from a year ago has gripes about the star, what can we do to improve mylot?
