My dog eats apples!!

I used to give my dog veggies and some fruits, but she doesn't eat them, so I thought dogs don't like veggies and fruits. Two week ago, I've posted a discussion and many dog lovers replied saying their dogs like fruits and veggie, so I tried to give my dog a bite of apple when I was eating apple. She finished the bite of apple I gave her, and then I gave a whole apple to her, and she finished the whole apple too. (I cut the apple into pieces and gave it to her) I'm happy that she likes to eat apple, I heard that it's healthy for dogs to eat apples. Thanks to those dog lovers who encourage me in giving a try!

Hello my friend kaka135 Ji, Very nice information to me as well, I was of the opinion that Dogs come under 'non-veg family', if they eat veg, it is always good for thier long-life. So nice of you for adding. May God bless You. have a great time.

We named our dog, REMUS. He's a dashound. We feed him veggy every morning and add rice to its dog food at dinner time. He loves apple too. Try to give him banana. Remus love banana.

Well, perhaps when we buy bananas, then we can try to give one to her. Remus is a nice name! ^_^

I don't see why dogs can't eat fruit and veggies, if they were in the wild they would have to eat what ever they could get there mouths on so there would be lots of fruit and veggies laying on the ground in the woods and fields etc

I used to give her some veggies and fruits, but she just played with it for awhile, and just left them there.... So I thought my dog doesn't like fruits or veggies. Perhaps she's picky!

Good for her. But "bubbles" loves to eat spaghetti. She eat a lot when my mom cooks it! What a dog!

One of my dog eats apples too, he holds them between his front paws and turns them like a person, it's so cute. He also really likes pumpkin of all things.

haha~~ it must be really funny to see him eating the apple. How about the other dogs? They do not eat apples or pumpkins?

There are some fruits that are bad for dogs so keep an eye out, maybe check online first, and make sure that you don't feed your dog anything that'll hurt her. My dog loves apples though, alot of fruit she really enjoys - especially pineapple!

Thanks for your advice. Actually I do not dare to simply give food to my dog, as my vet already warned us labrador's skin is very sensitive, so we need to be really careful bout this.
