Do you prefer homemade cookies over store bought cookies?

I just saw a stack of coupons that I have sitting on the computer desk that I'm planning to use later to buy a bunch of cookies for Christmas. I'm planning on buying the ones that you shape and put onto a pan and bake yourself. I'm too lazy and I never get any help when I'm baking so I'd rather just buy the cookies that I can just shape, or pull apart and bake myself.
I don't mind store bought cookies. I have yet to find any cookies, homemade or store bought that actually are soft and taste excellent anyway. So, for me, I could care less about having homemade cookies. Both are OK in my book.
What about you? Is homemade the only cookies for you or could you care less?

I think any cookies that you bake in your own oven taste 10 times better than the ones you buy that are already baked. I would always prefer warm chocolate chip cookies over Oreos, or something like that.
I don't mind to make the cookies from scratch from a recipe or to do the pre-made cookie dough from the refrigerated section of the grocery store either. With the pre-made dough you just pop it on the cookie sheet, put it in the oven and bake. Voila! Instant cookies. That is really great when the kids want cookies and I am tired and want to do it fast.

I love Soft Batch cookies the they are so soft and chewy. But I do love homemade cookies as well, but not alot take the time these days to make them homemade because easier versions are at the store already premixed or packaged. I do buy the dough already made sometimes especially from the school cookie dough fundraisers. just spoon them on and bake...hmmm..mmm good.

I like both cookies but really can't stand the cookies that are premade really. The premade being like chips ahoy or something like that. They're just not as good as the ones you bake yourself. I wish that I could get cookies baked soft everytime I bake though.

When I was little, mom loves to bake at home on special occasions such as Chinese New Year. But now she rarely bake. Maybe it is that reason that I always think that cookies baked by my mom is always the most delicious one. However, I do think some store sell tasty cookies too, such as famous amos.

You are the first person I ever heard of who doesn't prefer homemade cookies over store brought. I, myself, love the homemade, but I very rarely bake or have anyone bake for me, unless it's the holidays.

I really only eat cookies when my hubby or sister in law makes them. So I guess homeade is the answer for me. But I do have the occasional Oreo and glass of ice cold milk. You can't beat that.

Ah, want you need to do is get some kids to help you, they make a mess and have so much making cookies. Make sure you're the head chef and they are sous chefs and aren't actually involved in the dangerous stuff like removing hot baking pans from the oven. Store bought is good too.
