I take multi-vitamins once a day as much as possible. My mom found something that read "with the same components as Centrum" when she went to the US. Does it affect your daily performance? I don't really feel the difference but I think I will have to attribute my seemingly growing resistance to illness because of it - my office seatmates caught the cold and were feeling terrible, I only had a slight cough and was generally OK and am all better now while one of them is still taking meds. Still, I don't feel like I actually have "more energy" when I take them. Unlike how they market it.

I have started taking multivitamins over the last month, and I've been taking potassium since march. I don't notice the multivitamin helping really, but if I don't take my potassium, I end up feeling a bit weak after a couple days. I don't know if the multivitamins are doing any good though.

Why did you start taking potassium? I find it strange because no body ever told me that I needed them :) It's either multivitamins of vitamin C. Lack of potassium does make me dizzy, that's why I eat banana regularly - it's reach in potassium.

Well, I went to the emergency room back in February because I was having some problems, and well, the only thing they could find was an extreme lack of potassium, so much so that they made me take about four potassium caplets (they actually had to open the capsules and pour them into some apple sauce because I was a little too freaked out from being in the ER, I dislike hospitals a lot, so I had to eat the apple sauce (just not chew at all)) right there! I have been taking them ever since. The problems that I used to have were dizziness, tiredness, a lot of things. I just can't eat bananas, though I did try when they told me to get more potassium. Pineapple also has a lot of potassium, so I need to get back into eating those more often in addition to my pills, the winter air seems to make me need more potassium, or energy all together - thank goodness I started taking my one a days!

i don't know what's the effect becuase as they said that taking up multi-vitamins daily can boost your body resistance, stays you healthy, etc., but why it does't affect me?, otherwise, it makes me sleepy.. and on that thing i can say that multi-vitamins does'nt affect me in positive ways but in negative ways., i prefer to eat good and nutritious foods like veg., and other healthy foods. =p

I don't quite get it, did you say you get sleep when you take multivitamins?
