I think it's from an angel's blood? It was said to be used during the ancient times of the norse people. I think there is something going on with humans and these beings they call angels. It was said in the movie that in order to go to heaven, one must die a violent way. I think this is actually done by jihadist people.

I havent seen this movie yet but I was a big fan of the videogames. and I wanted to see this movie but I heard bad things about it like the characters were bland which didnt surperise me because I dont really like mark whalberg as an actor find him very boring. But I still want to see this movie since I love the games.
