I have 4 dogs, 2 of which are fixed. I am looking at fixing the other 2. The cost is just ridiculous. Have you had your pets fixed?

I have two dogs. One is spayed. the other needs to be neutered. But is not. If you wish to get your pets fixed, check out local vets and see what each of the charges. Some are alot cheaper than others. If that plans fail, see if your local animal shelter will do it at a reduced price. As they are all for provented unwanted births. I know the one in my area will have a promotion every so often where they will fix the publics pets. and also get them up to date on shots and tags for a low price.

Good luck getting your dog fixed. I all for stopping unwanted litters. My teenager wants to see my male miniature pinscher bred at least one time. I told him the reasons why I would not allow it. For one, is I would not be able to take in anymore animals. Secondly, with economy being bad. People will buy a pup and than do away with it when moving or because they never took the time to train it. I could not live with myself knowing that would happen.
I guess you can say I am a rescuer, not a breeder. I leave that to those who will do much better at it than I.

We got are kittens from a Humane Shelter and that was part of the rules before adopting the pets they had to be spayed or nuetered before leaving the shelter. Of course the cost was passed along when we adopted them. But they had all their shots to.
