Is Cell phone a Boon to mankind or ? ?

hello buddy, well i think that there has been a lot of debate about this matter and i feel that we can argue against the cellphones and at the same time cannot live without them. life these days have become such that cell phones have become a necessity. cell phones has become a great help in a lot of aspects and at the same time we are getting more and more dependent on it. well too much attachment with something is very bad so is too much of attachment with the cellphones. well as you have said that people are now a days carrying cellphones to their bathrooms. well i guess how busy are they that they are taking the phones to the bathroom. well if they would like to attend to some emergency calls then i guess what would they do while doing their essential duties inside the bathroom. just joking. have a good day and happy postings.

this is really a good topic to discuss... well in my view cellphone is a bane.. u could have always imagined a life where de communication is wired.. now since wireless are in to play and everything works with the help of satellities. say some day if des satellities stops working then even 2 thickest friends would feel separated eventhough they live in a communicable distance. even wired communc has disadvan but the rectification s to humans reach .. this is something to do with computers and higher level of technology. i am happy that technology has grown to dis extent but at de same time its really diff to believe each member of the same family communicate only thro dis small device and has brought down de power of relationship.... lets rule the mobiles and lets not allow them to rule us;)

i am the guy who take the cellphone to the toilet. i don't think it's a big deal. i think it's natural, not only cellphone, all technology is surpposed to serve people. of course people tend to be addict to these things. it's fine if you control it well.

My be yes, this technology like cellphone, help us to more close to another person than ever. With news feature like 3g we see our opponent, so we don need to see to their place to see how they are. With cellphone likely we can have more friend the with out it. Because we can calling party, take sms, etc. But the disadvantges of this technology is make us lazy, more introvert ( i think)..
