Yoga for mental diseases

Yoga is the craze of this time. Every man of 21st century is following yoga as a mantra for healthy life. I want to know whether Yoga has any beneficial effect in controlling mental & psychiatric illness??

hello buddy, well i think that yoga has great potential in the preventive field. yoga is all about control. it teaches us to control our senses and at the same time it has a lot to do with breathing. breathing is related to a lot of diseases. and when your body is properly oxygenated, you remain aloof from a lot of diseases. also yoga increases the body defense against the diseases. well also it helps to control weight as we could burn some calories with that. all these things have a positive effect on the body. and after that we have better mental health.

Yoga does help in physical and internally. It could be beneficial mentally as well.

the goal of yoga is keep mind and body peacfull make you feel energetic...u can come out of stress by performing yoga,,and also can control ur senses..that th power of yoga..and u can also cure some health issues...
