The perfect cell phone?

Cellphone - A pretty cellphone

The other night, Shelly asked me what would be the perfect cell phone for me. I thought about it for a moment and told her that I suppose it would be one that would allow me to send text messages and to make phone calls. No games, no internet, no nothing else This bugged her as she is like most people, she loves her cell phone and is lost without it What really gets her goat is when I say "It's just a phone, get over it!"But, I forgot to mention one thing in my perfect cell phone. I want a phone that doesn't make me want to throw it into the nearest wall when I am texting. It irks me completely when, as I am typing a text, to be interrupted by a new message coming in. Why does it have to interrupt my work? WHY? So, tell me, what is your idea of the perfect cell phone?

My cell phone is a virgin mobile kyocera - My cell phone is a virgin mobile kyocera and it is great for me.
I loves my cellphone as you know. I just do not get it why don't you like yours. I think for my lifestyle the cell that I have now is the perfect one for me. I dream of one with a double screen and keyword but the one that I have really fills all my needs, I like the game that I have in mine, I can text and make calls provided that I have minutes and enough monies on my balance. People who know me are amazed that I can text, I tell them I can text, I sometimes have a hard time watching tv but not texting. What happens to you happens to me too. I usually when I am interrupted go to my drafts and continue my text from over there. As you can see cell talk is my favorite talk. I

I love U 2 It's not that I dislike the cellphone, it's just so unnecessary I mean it's nice to know what you and the squirt are up to when you're away from home, but for that I don't need games or internet or anything else

Hi fwidman, I have an old fashion cell phone, yes, it rings and you can dial out and you can text, answer text, so what more can I want, that is perfect for me too. I don;t understand all this photo and all the other things with it, can't get my head round them. Tamara

At the rate cellphones are going, they won't be any need for any other devices. Heck, all one will need eventually is a bed, a place to cook, a bathroom and their cellphone

Hi fwidman, I also have a Kyochera flip phone, I presume in USA, you are under CDMA network technology, the kyochera which I have is also a CDMA under Reliance telecommunications. As far as India is considered CDMA under Reliance Telecommouncations is a poor man's mobile. It is Nokia who is dominating the Indian cell phone market under the GSM network.Cheers.

Shelly has a camera phone and plays with all the time. She just took my picture while I was typing I have a camera and I have a computer, so if I want to play games I can. I don't need that stuff on my cellphone Maybe if I liked telephones in the first place, I might like a cellphone too

I am with you ,I think I would have made more effort to understand mobile if I had lived somewhere else,no signal were I worked was ten minute walk away small place and someone always know where you are in our village.Plus the fact my husband and son have phones. So after all that I just want a phone to make calls and receive them tapping texts is so awkward for me and I do not have the patience to mess about like that.Besides if you have a mobile you never get any peace from anyone all ways on call not for me thanks.

Always on call would be a real pain the neck, that's for sure. Since I don't work anymore, I don't have that to worry about I rarely ever get any calls or texts from anyone other than my wife and daughter

A cell phone to me is just a pain in the ???. I had no intention to have one but after my heart attack my daughter, husband and everyone else said I needed one because I travel from my town to my daughters and that's an hour away and if I got sick again I could call so fine I get a cell phone. It was perfect. It was a pink LG 4600 the "Perfect Phone" no bells and whistles. I was with my little granddaughter and we were in the dollar store. My phone rang it was my daughter asking if we were OK. I told her we were about due to head home and it was my turn to pay so I hung up, paid the cashier and left the store. I realized almost right away I left my phone on the counter, well you guessed it it was gone when I went back and of course no one had it and no one knew I had it. Well when it came to buying another one you can't even buy one now that doesn't have a camera built in. This is ridiculous. A phone is a phone not a computer, camera or an arcade!!!GRRrrrr

One thing I like about my prepaid Virgin Mobile phone is that you can still buy one that's fairly simple for about 20 dollars. And, if I lose the phone or it gets stolen, I just have to call the company or go to their website and they will turn the phone off until I get another one and then transfer my money to the new phone

I only use it for Walkie, Text and short important phone calls only. What the he11 else do you really need anyway? Pretty much everyone has a house phone.

I agree Since I stay at home more often than go outside, I only need a cellphone to receive texts from the girls when they are out. And, I could actually do without that, since they could send me texts to my email address

One that I can shave with while I'm driving, oh and one that I can never get rid of, don't make me get a new phone just to replace the one I've got, make it so futuristic that I'll keep it and be buried with it. Make it an x-ray machine as well, that way I can... well, I can't think of why I'd need that feature, but it sounds cool right?

I suppose you'll need the transformer version, one that can transform itself into a robot, to cook for you and clean the house and do the laundry...

my idea of a perfect cellphone would be something that can make phone calls and send text messages... cool features should also be included such as: superb camera quality, with 3G, Wi-fi and bluetooth connectivity, GPS support, stereo FM radio and document viewer.. battery life should be good and the design too..

I see. You want a cellphone that will do lots of things I guess I am old fashioned, all I want out of the mobile is the phone part. I own a camera and a radio and a computer. I guess if I spent more time outside my house than in it those things might be important
