My mom is still hanging in there

Her eye isn't any worse, and no new symptoms have come up. She did find out that her thyroid is off like I thought. She is hyperthyroid now. I know that can affect the eyes, so we will see when they get her medication straightened out if anything improves. Although the doctor didn't change her meds yet. He said to wait a month and do more blood work. She's been on thyroid meds for five years. There is no reason for him to be waiting. I really don't like her doctor!

Patience, patient. I think he just wants to see if the tests are okay, that's all.

I don't like doctors that won't listen to the patient. She told him all her symptoms...some of which could be caused by being hyperthyroid, and he still wants her to wait another month before doing anything. She is even having heart palpatations! There's nothing I can do about it but vent...lol.

Glad to hear your mom's eye hasn't gotten worse. Hopefully, her doctor will adjust her meds to help her eye symptoms. Sorry to hear you don't like her doctor. That can be very frustrating.

It really is! I used to go to the doctor with her when we lived in GA. Now I can't and I never really know what's going on. I don't like it at all.
